About me

Ylva Maj, born in 1996, is an Austrian actress and singer. She is a member of the das.bernhard.ensemble, performs regularly in productions at das.off.theater, and produces vocal performances as a solo artist. Her work thus combines the fields of performance, acting, and music.

Alongside her acting training, she is studying music and physical education for a teaching degree with a focus on jazz and pop vocals. During her studies, she began designing and performing her own solo shows. She toured as "Bulda" with Disney in Concert and performed in children's musicals throughout Austria. Before returning to Vienna, she was engaged in Bregenz as "Nina" in an adaptation of The Seagull and spent a year touring Bavaria as "Ophelia" in Hamlet and "Gretchen" in Faust.

Since 2021, she has also worked in film and plays one of the leading roles in the feature film Dinner für Acht.
