Ruth Miriam Janscha

Born in Vienna, she studied music and theology in Switzerland after graduating from high school and then received her acting training at the MUK (former Conservatory of the City of Vienna), where she completed her bachelor's degree in 2015 and additionally the short course in operetta in 2021.

Her engagements include "The Csardas Princess" and "The Czarevich" at the Lehárfestival Bad Ischl, Aloysia Weber in "Mozart!" on tour in Shanghai, Manja in "Countess Mariza" and "Sunset Boulevard" at the Frankenfestspiele Röttingen, "Woman 1" in the Austrian premiere of "Edges", Mrs. Quatt and Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come in "Scrooge" on tour in Austria, Mrs. Tottendale in "The Drowsy Chaperone" at the MUK.theater, "The White Horse Inn" at the Herbsttage Blindenmarkt and "The Phantom of the Opera" at the Raimundtheater Vienna.

Furthermore, she has had the privilege of appearing in front of the camera in several commercials and is regularly booked as a soloist with her Wienerlied and musical programs on cruise ships.

Ruth was also a semi-finalist of the Heinrich Strecker Competition (Crossover Musical, Operetta, Wienerlied) in Baden/Vienna 2019, as well as a finalist of the Walter Jurmann Singing and Interpretation Competition 2015 at the MUK Vienna.

Additional training as an art therapist and numerous creative workshops with children and adults underline her enthusiasm for people and creativity.
