“Philipp, you have a superhero power, Melancholy.”

I couldn't counter that with pride and a slight feeling of shame.
The inspiration came from my directing teacher at the Meissner workshop I'm taking at Actors Space Berlin in July 2024. I played a shady lawyer who, under the surface, is a person with good intentions. I love and seek for these fragile, ambivalent characters.
Whether it's Hamlet at the Landestheater Thüringen (Rudolstadt) or the doubting astronaut in the short film Verheddert. 
Depth, doubt, sensuality and playfulness - these are the components of my superhero power.
