Peter Marton

Peter M. Marton, Austrian actor and voice artist, born to a Hungarian mother and a father from Kenya, with the rest of his family hailing from the United States. Rooted in his classical training at the Conservatory of Vienna, Marton has refined his craft through many years of experience both on stage and on set. His approach to his work is marked by a deep dedication to his characters and their stories.

Whether he's stepping into the role of lead detective Jerry Paulsen in the successful German TV crime "Watzmann ermittelt" (2019-...), or portraying the endearingly flawed character of Timo in the acclaimed prime time hit show "Vorstadtweiber" (2015-18, 2021-22), or delving into complex characters in films like the award-winning sci-fi short "Angst" (2021), the VR-film “Vantage Point” (2018) and the more recent dystopian tale "The Obelisk" (in development), Marton's performances are characterized by their depth and sincerity.
