Payam Yazdani

Payam Yazdani was born in Hamburg in 1994. From an early age, he gained his first theater experiences in various theater groups and youth clubs (including BACKSTAGE at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg). After graduating from high school in 2012, he first completed a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and then spent nearly two years in the USA and New Zealand. He later completed a Master of Science with a focus on Marketing and simultaneously began his acting studies at the Thomas Bernhard Institute of the University Mozarteum Salzburg in March 2021. 
In 2024, Payam Yazdani and his class from the University Mozarteum Salzburg received the "Ensemblepreis Schweiz" and the Audience Award, "the Students' Award," at the Schauspielschultreffen for their performance of "Das schweigende Mädchen" ("The Silent Girl"). Additionally, he won a solo award for his performance in the same production.
