About me

Nika Rozman is an established Slovenian actress, awarded for film and theatre roles.
After she graduated from acting at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television at the University of Ljubljana she has created over forty theatre roles in different Slovenian theatres, among them many leading ones, such as Shakesperare's Juliet and Ophelia. For Ostrovsky’s Katerina she was awarded the Borštnik Award for Best Young Actress, the roles of Wedekind’s Lulu and Cankar’s Jacinta have brought her an Acting Award given by the Slovenian Association of Dramatic Artists.
She has appeared in numerous films and television productions, but has become known to the Slovenian public with the role of model Mia in Killbillies, which won several awards and earned her a Vesna Award for Best Supporting Actress. Soon after that she was cast for her first leading role in the feature film Buoyancy.
The television audience got to know her as Tina Lanc, a detective in a very popular crime series Jezero, Leninov park and Dolina rož for which she won The Brightest Star Award 2020 and was two times nominated for Best Actress for Hearts of Sarajevo Award for TV Series at at the 27th and the 28th Sarajevo Film Festival.
Her short film Istina in which she plays the leading role of a photojournalist was nominated for the 2023 Yugo BAFTA Student Award and won a bronze medal at the 50th Student Academy Awards. In 2025, she received The Close-Up Award from the Screen Actors Guild of Slovenia (DSI).
