Martin Mak first graduated from a higher technical college in Klagenfurt. After that he worked in various companies. During his school days and also in his job as a technician, he loved entertaining his friends and colleagues with re-enacted film and theater scenes.

Martin was increasingly drawn to the performing arts. Often in various theater productions and also as an extra and small actor in some films. When he was engaged with the general gymnastics club Graz as an acrobat for Dürrenmatt's "Visit of the Old Lady" at the Schauspielhaus Graz in 2007, he finally knew that these "boards mean the world" to him. From now on, his life should develop and his success should grow on them. In addition to his work, private lessons followed with several acting teachers and speech coaches.

After several roles on stage, he also completed acting training at the Klagenfurt Conservatory and the CMA Ossiach. In the spring of 2020, he wrote the first cabaret program (“Zwei vom selben Kahlschlag”) with his stage partner Katrin Winkler-Jandl. The duo filled the Heunburgtheater four times. In 2022, the two brought their second program to the stage. Since then, filming has taken him to various locations in German-speaking countries.
