About me

Mario Canedo, born on March 14, 1990 in Vienna, is an Austrian actor, author, and voice actor. He has appeared in both German and Austrian television series as well as numerous films. Between 2004 and 2009, Mario Canedo attended the Hotel Management School in Vienna. He completed his acting training privately under Karlheinz Hackl and Erni Mangold, he graduated from the Vienna Konservatorium in 2013. In 2015, Mario Canedo was nominated as a Shooting Star by the Austrian magazine TV-Media. He also served on the Austrian jury for the 89th, 94th, and 95th Academy Awards in the category of Best International Feature Film from 2016 to 2023. Last he shot with Marleen Valien for her Feature Film PARADEISA. 2025 Participant - Mentoring Program of the Austrian Filmacademy.
