Luisa Wolf

Luisa Wolf is a Swiss-Haitian actress who first stepped onto a stage at the age of five in a ballet production and spent much of her childhood performing at the Theatre in Sursee. After completing a commercial apprenticeship and her high school diploma, she went on to train in acting, dance, and singing at the Stage School Hamburg, where her career took her to stages and sets across Germany. 

Upon returning to Switzerland, she had the opportunity to perform in the musical "West Side Story" at the Theatre Lucerne in 2011. Further musicals and smaller film roles followed, until 2020 brought her a lead role in the play "The Presidential Suite" and a supporting role in the crime series "Buried Truth", prompting her to dedicate herself entirely to acting.

During the pandemic, she made the most of the time and produced, wrote, and starred in her first short film "Alone", which went on to win two awards. In 2023, her work in the theatre piece "Who's Afraid Of The White Man?" earned her the Swiss Diversity Award and also brought her to her favourite city, Bern. Last year, she celebrated the world premiere of the feature film "Memory of Princess Mumbi" in Venice alongside director Damien Hauser, a film that has since won multiple awards.

She is currently on screen alongside Max Hubacher in the cinema film "Love Roulette" as well as in "Plitsch Platsch forever!" by Natascha Beller. Most recently, she appeared as Jessy in "Tribute to Prince" at Theatre Rigiblick and since 2026 has been serving on the board of the SSFV, advocating for better working and living conditions for actors in Switzerland.
