Lino Gaier

My name is Lino, I am 19 years old, and I live with my family (1 older brother, 3 younger sisters) in Vienna.

 

I graduated from school in June 2022 and then did 9 months of community service in an asylum centre.
 
I did a lot of sport during my time at school, especially football at the club. I still enjoy swimming, running, climbing and cycling. Skiing in winter. And quite a lot of skateboarding - I particularly like that! I generally like being outdoors in nature. But then I also like being in the city and enjoy the colourful hustle and bustle there and the cultural offerings, of course.
 
I currently spend most of my time with my friends in our music studio, we are a rap collective (called 3310). But I also like pop and emotional songs and music in general. I also like classical music - I took piano lessons for 7 years and sang in the children's choir of the Vienna Volksoper for 6 years. I was allowed to perform on stage in numerous performances (ensemble and solo). 
 
But my greatest passion is theatre and film. I have huge respect for the work that goes into every project. And the spirit that characterises every film set. To this day, I am infinitely grateful for all the experience I have gained from the film and television productions for which I have stood in front of the camera. The fact that I was nominated twice for a Romy (Austrian Film and Television Award) is of course a very special honour in this respect.
