Katja Minaev

Katja is an Austrian-Russian artist. After graduating from her conservatory program in Vienna, Katja started working with director Martin Kušej at The National Theatre of Austria. In January 2023, she started studying at the Lee Strasberg Institute to focus on the Method acting technique, both on stage and in film and TV. She made her New York Theatre debut as Nina in "A Seagull in the Hamptons," at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre, and was later cast as Cecilia in a multimedia project, "Untitled, 1970," directed by Arantxa Ibarra. In an upcoming feature film, she plays the role of Yogi in "Naked in the Park," directed by Oliver Shahery. 
Growing up, Katja played tennis and was given a sponsorship to train at the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida. Yet, her biggest personal achievement is having been part of creating the UNICEF Next Generation Austria group, by bringing young people together to make a change in this world.
