Judith Keller

Judith Keller was an ensemble member at the Volkstheater Wien for ten years and at the Tiroler Landestheater for 13 years. She also worked as an actress and director at the Stadttheater Basel, Bern, the Schauspielhaus Salzburg, the Salzburg Festival, the Tiroler Volksschauspielen, the Stadttheater Bruneck, the Merano Festival, the Tiroler Dramatists Festival, the Steudltenn Festival, the Waldviertler Hoftheater and the Munich Volkstheater, to name just a few.
She played many leading roles and in recent years has been seen as Edith Piaf, Mother Courage, Queen Elisabeth, Clytemnestra, Irina Arkadina, Dorine and Puck. She has also toured with many solo programs (melodramas "Hurrah, the dead ride fast", Brecht songs: "from Berlin to Hollywood", "when I burn in hell", Piaf songs "la vie en rose" up to tango ballads and tango shows. She has also been engaged for international concert and music theater performances as a singer, speaker and violinist, including as Lady Macbeth (mezzo) in the new opera "Cadence Macbeth" by Norbert Zehm, as a singing actress in Pierrot Lunaire by Arnold Schoenberg and in "Encore" by Jürg Wyttenbach.
In television and film roles she has played Angie (HR) in "The Better One Wins", in the television film "Lina" as a deaconess or most recently as Margit (HR) in the feature film "Present of the Past - Inside a Family " (2023) by Immanuel Degn, (location: Hollywood/LA, shooting language English). She can sing and play the violin very well and enjoys sailing.
