I’m Dani Spampinato, a Sicilian-born theatre actor, musical performer, and voice artist based in Vienna. I trained and completed a two-year Acting Diploma in English at VETA Vienna. My stage experience spans from classical theatre to large-scale musicals, with roles such as Phil Spector in TINA, Eddie Birdlace in DOGFIGHT, Jamie in THE LAST 5 YEARS, and Dal in APARTMENT 3A. I also worked as Assistant Director in the theatre production of The Duchess of Malfi.
In between theatre productions, I enjoy gaining on-set experience. I collaborated with Eduardo Mandim on Because They Were Not Distracted, and appeared in the music videos Roaming Dreams by Anchor the Sun and Car Whisperer by Vesely Marek. I also worked as PA and location scout for Yana Eresina’s Until I Lie Still and Schattenspiele.
Beyond the stage, I’m a singer-songwriter and frontman of the band Dani & the 500 Lire. As a voice artist, I contributed to German-language musical recordings (MEMPHIS, FLASHDANCE, GHOST), short films (Wormholes), and video games (Brass Heart).
I’m always looking for creative collaborations that cross language, genre, and medium — especially those that explore identity, music, and transformation.
