Annika Gräslund

Annika Gräslund was born in 1998 in Berlin to a German-Swedish family and grew up bilingual. As the daughter of soprano Margret Bahr, she was deeply influenced by music from an early age and stood out with solo vocal performances as a child. She received piano and cello lessons, gained her first theatre experience at her Swedish primary school in Berlin, and took part in various youth theatre programs at Berlin theatres. She also had a passion for drawing and painting, and began writing her own texts at an early age.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in Art History and Scandinavian Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin, Annika Gräslund began her acting studies at the University of Music and Theatre in Rostock. Her work during her studies was recognized with several awards and invitations to various festivals. Since 2024, she has been performing at the Mecklenburg State Theatre in Schwerin as part of a studio year.

Annika Gräslund gained her first film experience in classes with director Andreas Dresen and had her first professional screen role in Tatort 2025. Since her time as a student, she has also been committed to interdisciplinary projects and develops her own pieces with independent theatre groups.
