Annika Gräslund

Annika Gräslund was born in 1998 in Berlin to a German-Swedish family and grew up bilingual. As the daughter of soprano Margret Bahr, she was deeply influenced by music from an early age and stood out with solo vocal performances as a child. She received piano and cello lessons, gained her first theatre experience at her Swedish primary school in Berlin, and took part in various youth theatre programs at Berlin theatres. She also had a passion for drawing and painting, and began writing her own texts at an early age.

After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Scandinavian Studies at Humboldt University of Berlin, Annika Gräslund began her acting studies at the Rostock University of Music and Theatre. During this time, she received several awards and was invited to various festivals. In the 2024/25 season, she performed as part of a studio year at the Mecklenburg State Theatre in Schwerin and will join the ensemble at Theater Vorpommern as a permanent member starting in 2026.

Annika Gräslund gained her first experience in film through classes with Andreas Dresen and made her debut appearance in the TV series Tatort in 2025. Since her studies, she has also been actively involved in interdisciplinary projects and develops her own work within independent groups. In addition, from 2025 to 2026 she produced her own radio features as a cultural reporter for NDR.
